The cremated remains of 22-year-old South Korean student Park, allegedly tortured to death in Cambodia, arrived in South Korea after a joint autopsy in Phnom Penh found no visible organ damage.
Park, who traveled to Cambodia in July for an exhibition, was found dead near Bokor Mountain on August 8 with signs of abuse.
Three Chinese nationals have been indicted, two others are at large, and a suspect accused of luring Park into a scam was arrested in South Korea.
Further toxicology and tissue tests will determine the cause of death.
The repatriation followed consultations between South Korean and Cambodian authorities.
