Luzerne County will begin post-election adjudication on November 6, earlier than usual, to speed up review of mail, provisional, and write-in ballots.
The process, starting at 9 a.m. in Wilkes-Barre, will be managed by a staff canvassing board, with the volunteer election board retaining final authority.
The county is recruiting bilingual residents to assist Spanish-speaking voters in Hazleton on Election Day.
Party leaders will receive lists to help voters fix defective ballots before 8 p.m. on November 4.
