Dudley honors veterans with poppy displays, parades, and memorial services on Remembrance Day, Nov. 11.
Dudley is marking Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday with events honoring military service members.
A poppy cascade will be displayed at Dudley Council House starting November 1.
On November 9, a parade begins at Vicar Street, leading to a cenotaph service at 10:45am on Ednam Road, with the Mayor speaking and the event broadcast on Black Country Radio.
On November 11, a service at the First World War Clock Tower Memorial on Priory Street includes wreath-laying and a two-minute silence at 10:55am.
Poppy placements are available in Dudley Market Place from October 24 to November 24.
Several town center roads, including Priory Road, Ednam Road, High Street, and Market Place, will be closed for safety, with alternative routes and travel advice provided.
