Avaada Electro files for Indian IPO to raise $1.1B–$1.2B to boost solar production capacity.
Avaada Electro, a solar manufacturer backed by Brookfield, has filed for an IPO with India’s SEBI, seeking to raise ₹9,000 to ₹10,000 crore.
The funds will expand high-efficiency solar cell and module production, including a 5.1 GW facility in Uttar Pradesh and upgrades at its Butibori plant.
By 2027, the company aims to increase module capacity to 13.6 GW and cell capacity to 12 GW, with a fully integrated solar hub in Nagpur targeting 3 GW of ingot and wafer production.
The move supports India’s growing solar demand and domestic manufacturing goals.
