Louis Walsh calls Sky's Boyzone docu "fiction," vows his own version will shock viewers.
Louis Walsh has dismissed the Sky documentary *Boyzone: No Matter What* as "fiction," claiming it misrepresents his role and relationship with the band, and announced plans to release his own version of their story, promising it will shock viewers.
The three-part series, which aired in 2025, examined Boyzone’s rise, internal conflicts, and the 2009 death of Stephen Gately.
Walsh, who managed the group, defended his role as a promoter, not a traditional manager, and expressed disappointment over the portrayal.
The controversy follows past tensions with former member Ronan Keating, who accused Walsh of damaging his reputation behind the scenes after their split, though Keating said he understood Walsh’s motivations and never spoke ill of him.
