A two-alarm fire damaged the Ignite Sign Art Museum in Tucson, Arizona, on October 18 around 10:45 p.m., destroying much of the building and its collection of over 250 signs, clocks, and artifacts.
Firefighters, using 22 units, fought the blaze from the exterior due to high heat and low visibility, bringing it under control by 12:02 a.m. Sunday.
No injuries were reported.
The cause remains under investigation.
The museum, which had recently received a state heritage award and was preparing for a grand opening, sustained extensive damage.
