Chicago Bulls forward Zach Collins will miss at least four weeks after surgery to repair a non-displaced fracture in his left wrist, sustained during a preseason game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The injury occurred on Thursday, with surgery performed Friday.
Collins, 27, averaged 6.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 64 games last season across the Spurs and Bulls.
He has played 378 career NBA games with 83 starts, contributing 8.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game.
Drafted 10th overall in 2017 by the Sacramento Kings, he was traded to Portland the same night.
The Bulls open the regular season Wednesday at home against the Detroit Pistons.
