Warwickshire residents can now comment on a new biodiversity plan to protect and restore local habitats.
Residents of Warwickshire can now provide feedback on the county’s draft Local Nature Recovery Strategy, a plan mandated by the 2021 Environment Act to boost biodiversity and guide conservation efforts.
Developed by Warwickshire County Council and local partners, the strategy identifies key areas for habitat restoration and informs future planning.
Free online sessions led by ecology manager David Lowe will explain the plan and showcase an interactive map, with multiple dates in October.
The public is encouraged to attend and share input via the consultation website to help shape a more resilient natural environment across the county’s five districts.
