A man faces felony charges for fleeing a crash on Highway 14 that broke a motorcyclist’s arm.
Casar Isaac Martinez Herrera, 31, of Rochester, has been charged with a felony for allegedly fleeing the scene of a May 26 crash on Highway 14 involving a motorcycle.
Police found a damaged black BMW matching the description, with a broken passenger-side window, dents, a deployed airbag, and a flat tire.
Martinez Herrera, the registered owner, was identified after a woman said he admitted to driving the car and leaving.
He told officers he believed the motorcycle hit him while he crossed Highway 14 at 17th Avenue Southeast and fled due to fear.
The motorcyclist suffered a broken arm and was treated at St. Marys Hospital.
The case is pending in Olmsted County Court.
