Maharashtra has approved a ₹1,356 crore relief package for farmers in flood-affected Marathwada districts, with funds disbursed directly to 21.66 lakh beneficiaries before October 20, 2025.
The aid targets areas including Beed, Dharashiv, Latur, and Parbhani, where September rains damaged 15.16 lakh hectares of farmland.
Part of a larger ₹31,628 crore relief plan announced October 7, it includes compensation for crop and property losses, ex gratia payments, and support for livestock and homes without requiring formal applications.
Beed received the highest allocation at ₹577.79 crore.
A separate ₹400 crore grant is expected soon.
