I-41/894 ramp closure in Milwaukee for bridge repairs, Oct. 24–27, with detours advised.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will close the southbound I-41/894 to eastbound I-894 ramp at the Hale Interchange in Milwaukee County from 11 p.m. on Friday, October 24, to 5:30 a.m. on Monday, October 27, for bridge repairs as part of a larger resurfacing project. Additional ramps will also be shut down during the 54-hour period. The work is weather-dependent, and motorists should expect major delays. A detour is recommended using I-43 south to WIS 100, then Layton Ave. and 60th St. to reconnect with the interstate system. The full project is expected to continue through late 2026.
