Eight Gala Retail stores across County Mayo, Offaly, and Laois were honored at the 2025 ‘Delivering the Difference’ conference in Killarney, with several winning top awards. Mayo stores earned accolades including Chilled Retailer of the Year and multiple Excellence Awards, while Offaly retailers were recognized for social media leadership and brand performance. Laois stores received Excellence Awards, with one runner-up in Customer Service. Gala Retail CEO Gary Desmond praised the stores for their community impact and consistent high performance. The event highlighted Gala’s €500,000 sustainability fund and featured speakers Jacqui Hurley, Bernard Jackman, and Geoff Ramm.
