A recall has been issued for Vesta VRP/VRS Tankless Water Heaters sold in the U.S. and Canada due to a carbon monoxide risk from cracked exhaust ducts.
The issue affects all models and serial numbers, including specific variants like the VRP Plus-150 and VRS Plus-199, with certain serial numbers starting with 6LM, 6LN, and 6LO.
Between May 2017 and July 2025, about 3,496 units were sold in Canada and 36,700 in the U.S. No injuries or deaths have been reported, but 33 cases of cracked ducts have been documented.
Consumers are advised to stop using the units immediately and contact VESTA.
