Qatar has launched a humanitarian land bridge to deliver aid to Gaza via Jordan and Egypt, providing 87,754 shelter tents and essential supplies to support over 436,000 displaced people.
The initiative, launched under Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani’s direction and following the Sharm El Sheikh Summit for Peace, involves Qatar Charity, the Qatar Red Crescent Society, and the Qatar Fund for Development.
It aims to address urgent needs amid widespread destruction and the displacement of more than 288,000 families.
Senior officials, including Minister of State for International Cooperation Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, attended the launch, highlighting Qatar’s sustained commitment to Palestinian resilience and long-term recovery.
