Pakistan's weekly inflation rose 4.57% year-on-year as of October 16, 2025, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, with the Sensitive Price Indicator tracking 51 essential goods across 17 cities.
Price increases were seen in gas, tomatoes, sugar, wheat flour, eggs, beef, vegetable oil, and cigarettes, while chicken, onions, garlic, tea, potatoes, and pulses declined.
On a week-to-week basis, the SPI rose 0.49%, with 24 items increasing, eight falling, and 19 stable.
