A survey of 2,000 drivers finds 37% expect futuristic car features like self-cleaning surfaces, climate-controlled zones, and levitating wheels within a decade, with solar roofs, noise-canceling cabins, and self-cleaning seats among top desired innovations.
Seventy-one percent prioritize in-car technology over car color or status, though 35% admit they can’t fully use their vehicle’s existing tech, including basic functions like disabling airbags or resetting tire warnings.
While 61% feel comfortable with personal aerial vehicles, and 33% believe flying cars are possible, companies note that once-fantastical features are now standard, and current vehicles are rapidly evolving with fast charging and advanced audio systems, making today’s cars seem outdated quickly.
