Litchfield Minerals reports a second strong sulphide intersection at its VT2 target in the Northern Territory, suggesting a large, system-scale copper-zinc deposit. Chalcopyrite and sphalerite were found in both disseminated and massive forms, aligned with a VTEM anomaly over 500 meters. A downhole electromagnetic survey is set to begin to refine targeting. Drilling has moved six km southwest to VT1, a more conductive target with gossanous outcrops containing gold, silver, copper, and tellurium. Operating with one rig, the company is prioritizing VT1 and VT2, with a second rig possibly returning as data clarifies the geological picture.
