Kia has expanded its 2025 Sorento electrified lineup in Australia, adding six hybrid variants and three plug-in hybrid grades, with the entry-level HEV S FWD starting at $56,380—nearly $14,000 less than the previous base model. The PHEV range now includes four AWD trims starting at $70,880, undercutting the Mazda CX-80 PHEV. Both electrified models use a 1.6L turbo-petrol engine with electric assistance, offering up to 58km of electric range and 1.6L/100km combined fuel consumption. The Sorento remains one of Australia’s top-selling SUVs, with no official updates confirmed for 2026.
