Eight Louisiana schools honored as 2025 Blue Ribbon Schools for academic excellence and equity.

Eight Louisiana schools, including South Live Oak Elementary and St. Jude School, have been named 2025 Blue Ribbon Schools for excellence in academic performance and closing achievement gaps. The honor, part of a state-led national program, recognizes institutions across the state for high standards and equity in education. Other recipients are Caneview Elementary, Cecil Picard Elementary, Early College Academy, Haynes Academy, Mulberry Elementary, and St. Dominic School. Louisiana Superintendent Dr. Cade Brumley commended the schools’ dedication to student success.
