CCTV shows 14-year-old Noah Donohoe leaving home barefoot, returning without belongings, and later found dead in a storm drain.
CCTV footage from June 21, 2020, has been released in a renewed appeal for information about 14-year-old Noah Donohoe, who disappeared from south Belfast and was later found dead in a storm drain.
The recordings show him leaving home at 3:34 a.m. wearing flip-flops, a t-shirt, shorts, and carrying headphones, heading toward Queen’s University.
He returned barefoot at 4:08 a.m., without his footwear or headphones, walking from Ormeau Road onto Dudley Street and Fitzroy Avenue.
The coroner, Mr Justice Rooney, is investigating his drowning death and seeks information about his whereabouts, companions, and the missing items.
The inquest, delayed to 2026 due to legal challenges and a senior coroner’s recusal, has drawn public attention, including a 2022 protest.
Noah’s mother expressed distress over the two-year delay in releasing the footage.
