A Woodstock man was charged after police stopped a stolen car, finding him impaired and in possession of opioids.

A Woodstock man was charged on Oct. 4 after police stopped a stolen vehicle, allegedly finding him impaired and in possession of a controlled substance, facing charges including opioid possession and impaired operation. Other incidents included a 58-year-old charged with impaired operation and failure to comply with a demand, a 26-year-old charged after a pedestrian strike with a high blood-alcohol level, a 24-year-old charged following a motorcycle crash involving multiple violations, and a 34-year-old charged for open alcohol and methamphetamine possession. A youth was charged for fleeing police and dangerous driving but turned themselves in, all individuals were released on undertakings with future court dates.
