Taiwan has recalled over 1.12 million tablets of Thyrocure 50mcg, a hypothyroidism medication, due to low levels of its active ingredient, levothyroxine sodium, discovered during stability testing. The recall, prompted by a voluntary report from manufacturer Biofrontier Inc., covers two batches and must be completed by November 3. Officials say domestic supply is sufficient for nearly four years, with an additional 500,000 tablets expected by early 2026.
