Raymond Molina-Caraballo, 28, of New Bedford, has been charged with attempting to smuggle cocaine into the Bristol County Jail.
Authorities say he was arrested on outstanding warrants at New Bedford District Court on August 25 and searched upon arrival at the Dartmouth jail, where officials found over 11 grams of suspected crack cocaine and nearly 26 grams of suspected powdered cocaine on his person.
He faces multiple charges including trafficking and possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance, as well as delivering drugs to a prisoner.
Molina-Caraballo remains jailed.
