A motorcyclist died in a Kentucky crash after running a red light and colliding with a turning truck.
A 32-year-old motorcyclist, Tyler Hamilton of Owensboro, died Tuesday evening in a crash on Carter Road near the U.S. 60 Bypass off-ramp in Daviess County, Kentucky.
He was traveling southbound when he failed to stop at a red light, colliding with a 2023 Toyota Tacoma turning northbound from the off-ramp.
Hamilton, riding a 2007 Kawasaki, was ejected and later pronounced dead at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
The driver, 22-year-old Dylan Cook of Philpot, and his passenger suffered minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
