A Minnesota man was arrested in Florida for allegedly touching a woman without consent and trying to meet her again.

A 44-year-old Minnesota man, Douglas Reid Pederson, was arrested in Naples, Florida, on battery charges after allegedly touching a woman without her consent at 11th Avenue South Beach. Authorities say he approached her while she was on the sand, ignored her requests to stop, and gave her a burner phone number to meet the next day. Surveillance footage shows him being driven away by his wife, who was with their two children. Pederson, who has a prior conviction for indecent exposure in Minnesota, was arrested after returning to the beach the following day expecting to meet the woman. The case is ongoing.
