Canada confirms Terra Clean Energy’s Fraser Lakes B as active rare earth deposit with critical minerals and uranium.
Terra Clean Energy Corp. reports that its Fraser Lakes B Deposit in Saskatchewan has been recognized by the Government of Canada as an active rare earth element (REE) deposit, confirmed through drilling and assays.
The site, near the Athabasca Basin and existing infrastructure, contains light REEs like lanthanum, cerium, ytterbium, and yttrium—critical for batteries, magnets, electronics, and medical technologies.
The deposit also holds historic inferred resources of uranium and thorium.
The findings stem from a multiyear study funded by Natural Resources Canada and led by the University of Saskatchewan, with Terra as a partner.
The company reaffirms its commitment to advancing both uranium and REE development through ongoing exploration.
