Australia's StandingTall app, reducing falls in seniors, wins 2025 Good Design Award.
Miroma Project Factory has won Australia’s 2025 International Good Design Award for its app StandingTall: Live Actively, Age Healthier, which helps older Australians reduce falls through science-backed balance exercises.
Developed with Professor Kim Delbaere, NeuRA, and UNSW, the tablet-based app has been shown to cut falls by 16% and injurious falls by 20%.
The award, part of the 67th annual Australian Good Design Awards, honors design excellence in social impact, innovation, and sustainability, with this year’s winners selected from record-high entries by over 80 international jurors.
The ceremony is set for October 17 at ICC Sydney.
