Vodacom is investing over R500 million in 2025-2026 to expand 4G and 5G networks across Limpopo, adding more than 250 new 5G sites in cities and remote areas like Polokwane, Giyani, and Musina.
The investment, part of a seven-year R3.1 billion commitment, includes R312 million for radio networks and R194.2 million for transmission upgrades to boost coverage and capacity.
The company also allocated R40.3 million to support small businesses and launched affordability initiatives, including a smartphone payment plan with daily rates as low as R6.50 and discounted devices, helping increase digital access and usage across the province.
