India’s FASTag Annual Pass, launched on August 15, 2025, has drawn over 25 lakh users and enabled 5.67 crore transactions on national highways and expressways within two months.
Priced at ₹3,000, the pass offers one year of validity or 200 toll crossings, whichever comes first, and is valid at about 1,150 toll plazas.
It is activated within two hours via the RajmargYatra App or NHAI website and is non-transferable, applicable only on national routes.
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways cited strong adoption as evidence of growing preference for cashless, seamless toll payments, supporting broader infrastructure modernization efforts.
