Emmy-winning soap opera director Heather Hill, who helmed 131 episodes of "The Young and the Restless" and was a trailblazer for women in daytime TV, has died at 85.
She passed away October 10, 2025, at her Las Vegas home.
Starting as a production assistant on "Love of Life," Hill rose to become a respected director on major dramas including "Search for Tomorrow," "As the World Turns," and "Baywatch."
She earned six Daytime Emmys for her work on "The Young and the Restless" and was recognized as a pioneer in the industry.
She is survived by her husband, sons, daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren.
