Australia’s Dec. 10 social media ban for under-16s sparks backlash over lost creative opportunities and economic impact.
Australia’s proposed ban on social media use for under-16s, set for December 10, faces criticism from YouTube, which warns it could harm young creators and the economy, citing $970 million in GDP and 16,000 jobs.
