A body found near Coalinga on October 11 is believed to be Isabel Lucas Velasco, a 50-year-old woman who went missing on September 12 after being last seen at a job site in Arroyo Grande. Two men—her ex-boyfriend, Alejandro Soriano-Ortiz, 45, and his brother, Celestino Soriano-Ortiz, 40—have been arrested in connection with her death. Alejandro faces murder and arson charges tied to setting her vehicle on fire, while Celestino is charged as an accessory to murder and with arson. Both are held without bail. The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Office is working to confirm the identification, and the investigation continues.
