Romania exports uranium fuel to Argentina, a first for its nuclear industry.

Romania’s state-owned nuclear company Nuclearelectrica has secured its first international export of uranium dioxide fuel, supplying Argentina through its subsidiary FPCU Feldioara, marking a milestone for the country’s nuclear industry. The delivery follows the plant’s acquisition and operational upgrades, enabling Romania to produce and export nuclear fuel. The project supports Romania’s goal of strengthening its nuclear fuel cycle, diversifying revenue, and expanding its global role in nuclear energy.
