Mongolian President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa began a four-day state visit to New Delhi on October 13, 2025, marking his first official trip to India as head of state.
He was welcomed with a guard of honour and ceremonial honours by India’s Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Murlidhar Mohol.
During meetings with Indian leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, both nations reaffirmed their strategic partnership, emphasizing shared democratic values, cultural and spiritual ties, and cooperation across defence, energy, education, healthcare, technology, and mining.
The visit, coinciding with the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations established in 1955, aims to strengthen bilateral ties and address regional and global issues.
