A magnitude 2.6 earthquake struck late Monday night, October 13, 2025, near Chazy, New York, at 11:39 p.m., with a shallow depth of about 8.7 kilometers.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported it was felt by more than 80 people across northern New York and Vermont, including areas near Lake Champlain.
