India maintains zero tolerance on terrorism under Modi, using laws, bans, and new security hubs.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced on October 14, 2025, that India has maintained a zero-tolerance policy toward terrorism under Prime Minister Modi, citing legislative reforms like UAPA and NIA Act amendments, expanded use of PMLA and ED to disrupt terror financing, and the banning of the PFI and over 57 individuals or groups as terrorist entities.
He highlighted improved intelligence sharing through the Multi-Agency Centre and national surveillance systems, the formal definition of terrorism in 2023 criminal laws, and military operations including surgical and air strikes.
Shah also revealed plans for six new NSG hubs and a Special Operations Training Centre to boost national security readiness.
