Delhi High Court delays Madison Communications' antitrust case hearing to Nov. 17.
The Delhi High Court has adjourned a hearing in a case brought by Madison Communications, which challenges the Competition Commission of India’s antitrust probe into alleged advertising industry collusion.
The company claims the CCI’s March raid was unlawful, citing procedural violations, lack of legal counsel during interrogations, and overreach by the Director General.
Madison argues the investigation, expanded without approval and targeting agencies while ignoring potential buyers’ cartel allegations, violates due process and seeks to quash summonses.
The court deferred the October 14 summons and set a new date for November 17, asking both sides to submit relevant legal precedents.
The CCI maintains its actions are lawful and within regulatory bounds.
