Fayaz Khan, a 26-year-old Afghan migrant who arrived in the UK via a small boat from France, is set to be sentenced after being found guilty by a jury on two counts of threatening to kill Reform UK leader Nigel Farage. The threat was made in a TikTok video posted between October 12 and 15, 2024, where Khan, using the username “madapasa,” made gun gestures, pointed to an AK-47 tattoo, and said he would “pop, pop, pop” and come to England to harm Farage. The video followed Farage’s YouTube post on illegal migration. Khan, who had lived in Stockholm since 2019 and had a large online following, was arrested on October 31. Farage described the video as “pretty chilling,” citing concerns over Khan’s apparent access to firearms. The case has drawn national attention to issues of migration and online threats.
