Convicted on October 9, 2025, at Nowra Local Court, he was also found guilty of breaching a domestic violence order and resisting arrest, for which he was fined $750.
The victim escaped from a moving vehicle and sought help, while police found the man without license plates, resisting officers and reaching toward a firearm.
Magistrate Lisa Viney called the attacks "abhorrent," noting his history of domestic violence and lack of accountability.
The sentence begins in September 2026, with eligibility for release in November 2027.
