Qatar's real estate sales surged 54% in 2025, driven by new regulations, a digital platform, and Saudi cooperation.
Qatar’s real estate market posted a 54% increase in sales transactions and a 41% rise in sales value in the first three quarters of 2025, according to the Qatar Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqarat).
The growth was highlighted at the third Qatar Real Estate Forum, where Aqarat launched the 'Real Estate Investor Journey' digital platform, activated all regulations by mid-2025, and licensed 19 new developers.
The event, with Saudi Arabia as guest of honor, included a bilateral MoU on real estate cooperation between Qatar and Saudi Arabia, focusing on regulation, urban planning, and digital transformation.
The forum also featured the launch of the 'Qatar Real Estate Award' and the Cityscape Qatar 2025 exhibition, underscoring regional collaboration and Qatar’s emergence as a key global real estate destination.
