Musicians investigate paranormal claims at Portland bar, record EMF spikes and feel watched during overnight stay.
Local musicians Chad Walls and Joe Sweeney investigated claims of paranormal activity at Portland’s The Thirsty Pig bar, staying overnight after closing on September 21.
Based on reports from owner Allison Stevens and staff of unexplained noises, moving objects, and a mysterious man seen in the basement, the duo used audio recorders and an EMF meter during their stay.
Though they saw no figures or heard clear voices, both reported a strong sense of being watched, and the EMF meter spiked when they asked if their presence was welcome.
The experience, initially met with skepticism, left Walls unsettled.
They plan to release a mini-documentary of their findings for a Halloween-themed event on October 26.
