Litchfield Minerals found over 100 meters of high-grade copper at its Oonagalabi project in Australia’s Northern Territory.
Litchfield Minerals has made a major copper discovery at its Oonagalabi project in the Northern Territory, with drill hole 10 intersecting over 100 meters of copper sulphide mineralisation, including high-grade intervals up to 2.26% copper equivalent.
Initial handheld XRF tests showed a 1.37% copper equivalent grade, with every drill hole to date confirming copper presence.
The results validated the company’s IP geophysical survey, which identified a high-chargeability zone (VT1), while geochemical sampling revealed copper, gold, silver, and tellurium—suggesting potential for a larger iron oxide copper-gold or skarn system.
The company is now exploring an eastern extension and two new targets: VT2, a 500m-long conductive plate, and the “Bomb Diggity cluster,” where multiple geophysical anomalies converge.
Lab assays are underway to confirm results.
