Scheduled for operation by 2027, CASPIr will replace the Kay supercomputer and enhance research in climate science, health, genomics, and materials.
The initiatives, part of broader government investments in R&D and digital infrastructure, aim to boost innovation, support SMEs, and strengthen Ireland’s role in European high-performance computing and artificial intelligence.
