Hudsonville High School’s football team stayed undefeated with a 7-0 record after a last-second 7-0 victory over East Kentwood on October 10, 2025. With two seconds left and trailing by six, quarterback Brady Van Laeke threw a hail mary that was tipped multiple times in the end zone before Andrew Meerman caught it for a touchdown. The extra point gave Hudsonville the win, marking the second straight week they secured a game-winning play, following a similar one-handed catch by Lawsyn Weber the prior week. The Eagles now prepare to face Grand Haven.
