Expo 2025 Osaka ended today after 184 days, concluding with the German Pavilion, "Wa! Germany," recognized by the BIE with a Sustainability Award and a Silver Award for Theme Development. The pavilion, managed by Koelnmesse and showcasing circular economy principles, hydrogen tech, and urban agriculture, attracted over three million visitors. More than 90% said their expectations were exceeded, and the pavilion’s mascot, Circular, was voted the most popular. The project was delivered by a German-Japanese consortium, with Koelnmesse calling it a benchmark in international exhibition design.
