V8 SuperUtes driver Jimmy Vernon, an ambassador for the Kids with Cancer Foundation, honored Connor by displaying his recovery news on his SuperUte during race week at Mount Panorama-Wahluu.
Connor, who endured multiple hospitalizations and temporary loss of mobility, attended the event, cheered for Vernon, and met Supercars legend Craig Lowndes.
His mother praised Vernon and the foundation for their support, while Vernon said his work with the organization has been one of the most meaningful aspects of his career, using his platform to bring joy to families affected by childhood cancer.
