Singapore adds 11 bus routes and extends two by end-2025 to ease commutes and reduce feeder bus use.
By end-2025, Singapore’s northeast and Tengah/Brickland areas will gain 11 new bus services and two route extensions under the LTA’s $900 million Bus Connectivity Enhancement Programme.
New routes include 104, 44, 984, and express services 451–456, offering direct links to MRT stations and peak-hour city direct options.
Existing routes 114 and 146 will extend to Yio Chu Kang and Kovan.
The upgrades, already benefiting nearly 200,000 commuters, aim to reduce reliance on feeder buses, improve journey times via new bus lanes, and address driver shortages through better pay and flexible work options.
