Over 400 people attended the Alzheimer’s Association Maine’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Bangor on October 11, 2025, marking the event’s largest turnout yet.
The fundraiser raised nearly $58,000 toward an $84,000 goal, supporting free services for families and research into treatments for early, mid, and late-stage Alzheimer’s.
Participants honored personal connections through a Promise Flower ceremony, tribute wall, and promise garden.
Local organizations provided resources, and Bristol Hospice promoted end-of-life care with bee-themed shirts.
The next walk is set for Portland the following weekend.
