The National Trust is holding a memory sharing session on October 18 at Croome Court in Worcestershire to gather personal stories, photos, and memorabilia from the period 1979 to 1996, before the Trust took over the estate.
The event aims to uncover lesser-known aspects of the site’s recent history, including the Hare Krishna community’s presence, the Hell Fire Balls events, and agricultural use prior to parkland restoration.
Held from noon to 3 p.m. in the SOQ building, it is open to the public, with non-members receiving free entry afterward.
Collected memories will help shape future programming and ensure a more inclusive historical narrative.
