A man has been charged with stalking Sir Ed Davey and his family, and possessing a knife, in incidents from June to October 2025.
A 58-year-old man from Surbiton, Inigo Rowland, has been charged with stalking Liberal Democrat leader Sir Ed Davey and his family, as well as possessing a flick knife, following incidents at Davey’s home and office between June and October 2025.
Arrested on October 6, Rowland appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates Court on October 7 and was remanded in custody.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed the charges, stating Sir Ed and his family’s safety is a priority.
The Liberal Democrat party said the situation is being taken seriously.
The case remains under investigation.
